Aromatic Description: Cool, refreshing, strong, grassy, minty, penetrating menthol scent, reminiscent of peppermint candies, but more concentrated. More fragrant than spearmint.

Benefits: Anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antiseptic, antiviral, astringent, deodorant, expectorant, refreshing, restorative, nerve tonic, stimulant (mental), aphrodisiac

Properties: An excellent oil to restore and invigorate ones body and soul. Peppermint is a great diffuser oil for when you are feeling tired and a few drops in the bath will restore your system. Good for acne, toothaches, muscular pain, asthma, cramps and nausea. Used for colds, flu, fever, headaches, mental fatigue, nervous stress. An uplifting and stimulating oil.

Blend Classification: Personifier

Blends well with: basil, cypress, eucalyptus, bergamot, geranium, lavender, lemon, mandarin, marjoram, myrrh, pine, rosemary, tea tree, sandalwood, other mint oils

Skin type: blemished

Traditional use: digestive system, massage, insect repellent, diffuser

Common Uses: Asthma, colds, flu, sinusitis, bad breath, bruises, cold sores, excessive perspiration, exhaustion, fever, headache, nausea, scabies, sinusitis, vertigo.

Safety Information: Generally non-toxic, non-irritant (except in concentration) possible sensitization due to menthol. Avoid in cardiac fibrillation, epilepsy, and fever. Do not use during pregnancy. May cause irritation to sensitive skin. Mucous membrane irritant and neurotoxic (toxic to the nerves). May cause sensitization.

Cautions:  Avoid in allergic and inflammatory skin conditions. Avoid during pregnancy. Please use this oil in moderation. Do not take any oils internally. Do not apply undiluted oils, absolutes or other concentrated essences onto the skin.
